The EZPass Interagency Group IAG was formed in 1990 with three states New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania and seven agencies Pennsylvania Turnpike, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, MTA Bridges & Tunnel, New York State Thruway, and Atlantic City Expressway. The first deployment of EZPass was on the New York State Thruway at the Spring Valley barrier on August 3, 1993. Our mission to provide the traveling public with a simple, accurate, interoperable, electronic method of paying tolls and transportation fees with One Tag, One Account. Committed to regionally compatible system ,Provides participating customers with a seamless travel payment system in a highly mobile region, Promotes common operating protocols and policies to advance customers service without impacting the traveler.
